§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsI have decided that £27.5 million should be allocated for the urban programme and urban development grant in Wales for 1984–85. The comparable figure for 1983–84 was £21 million.
I am today publishing a list of successful new projects within the urban programme for 1984–85 and will place a copy in the Library of the House. These projects, together with existing commitments and schemes carried over from the 1983–84 programme, make up an urban programme element — within the £27.5 million total — of £17.3 million in 1984–85.
