Dr. Cunningham

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish the rateable value for block grant purposes of every local authority in England (i) in 1981–82 and (ii) in 1984–85, showing the percentage change for each authority between 1981–82 and 1984–85.

The tables show gross rateable values for block grant purposes for 1981–82 and 1984–85 and the percentage change between these years. The figures shown for 1984–85 are estimates and will be revised before the initial grant payments are made.
