Mr. Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what is his latest estimate of the total number of families who are living in overcrowded conditions in (a) England and Wales, (b) Yorkshire and Humberside, (c) West Yorkshire and (d) the Kirklees metropolitan district; and if he will make a statement;

(2) what is his latest estimate of the number of families living in dwellings without an inside toilet in (a) England and Wales, (b) Yorkshire and Humberside, (c) West Yorkshire and (d) the Kirklees metropolitan district; and if he will make a statement.
