HC Deb 02 February 1984 vol 53 c372W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the Under-Secretary of State's recent visit to Liverpool.

Mr. MacFarlane

I visited Liverpool on 27 and 28 January 1984. During my visit I opened the Dorchester function rooms at the Liverpool ice rink and met the chairman of the north-west regional council for sport and recreation. I also saw members of the South Liverpool canoe and climbing club and toured the site of the international garden festival. I visited the Albert dock complex and was a guest of Everton football club.
