When and in what form they will make the long-promised amendments to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and whether they accept that further delay will result in unacceptable damage to wildlife habitats.
§ Lord SkelmersdaleWe are concerned about the damage to wildlife habitats which has occurred during the three-month consultation period preceding formal notification. I understand that proposals for remedying this loophole in the Act are included in a Private Member's Bill which has been tabled in another place.
