§ Sir Peter Blakerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many representations he has received in the last six months on the subject of taxation of furnished holiday lettings.
§ Mr. MooreMy colleagues and I have received about 200 letters from hon. Members, taxpayers and their representatives on this subject over the past six months. In addition, the Inland Revenue has received about 50 letters in response to the draft legislation which was published at the end of January to allow interested parties to comment.
