§ Mr. WaldegraveCertain representations have been received, principally from the Nature Conservancy Council and the Friends of the Earth. These call for amendments to the section to provide(a) for the 12-month period for the conclusion of an agreement to commence from the date of the order, and (b) for an additional temporary "holding" power to be introduced to prevent damage whilst a section 29 order application is under consideration by the Secretary of State. I am still considering these representions.
