HC Deb 03 April 1984 vol 57 cc443-4W
Mr. Trotter

asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many copies of the development of the trunk road network map have been produced; how they have been distributed; to whom; and whether he will make copies available in the Vote Office.

Mrs. Chalker

A map showing the development of the trunk road network in Great Britain is produced by my Department. The latest edition is in two sheets showing the position at 1 December 1983. Two thousand copies of the northern sheet and 2,500 of the southern were produced, price £3 each. In addition, 2,000 copies of a larger scale map of the Greater London area, showing the position as at August 1983 have been produced, price £2.50. To date, some 1,900 of the maps have been distributed to officials, libraries, firms, professional bodies and members of the public. Copies have been placed in the Library of the House.
