§ Mr. WaldegraveResponsibility for repair and maintenance of public sewers under unadopted roads lies with the water authorities. It is for them to decide how they will allocate their resources between this and the other service which they provide. The repair and maintenance of private sewers is the responsibility of individual private owners, and I have no plans to make funds available for this purpose.
