Member for Copeland (Dr. Cunningham) on 31 January 1984 at columns 148–49, he is accountable for the remuneration of the chairman, deputy chairman and members of the commission, and of the first controller. The present salary of the chairman is £8,562 per annum, that of members £1,500 per annum and that of the controller £60,000 per annum.
