§ Mr. Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether, in the light of the growth of Mid-Sussex and the rapidly increasing amount of traffic moving to and from Gatwick airport, he will start preparing plans for a bypass round East Grinstead.
§ Mrs. ChalkerWest Sussex county council is the highway authority for the roads through East Grinstead. It is therefore for it to decide whether a bypass is necessary.
