§ Mr. Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Transport when he intends to announce the route for the Albourne/ Sayers Common bypass on the A23; and when he expects work on this bypass to commence.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI hope to publish draft orders for the improvement of the A23 between Bolney and Brighton, to include local bypasses of Albourne and Sayers Common, by the spring of next year.
Start of construction will depend on completion of the statutory procedures; it is at present programmed from April 1987 onwards.
