asked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made by the Wales supply policy group on procurement policy for health service requirements in Wales.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

The Wales supply policy group, which has now been formally established by the health authorities in Wales, held its inaugural meeting on 22 February and considered an initial programme of work designed to provide authorities with ongoing advice on a wide range of issues affecting the purchase, distribution and storage of supplies in Wales. Periodic reports will be made to my right hon. Friend.
