§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will specify (a) the museums, galleries and libraries in the United Kingdom the authorities of which are empowered to effect transfers of objects vested in them to the national museum of Wales and the national library of Wales, respectively, and (b) the museums, galleries and libraries in the United Kingdom to which transfers are permissible of objects vested in the authorities of these two national institutions in Wales.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsQuestions relating to national museums, galleries and libraries in parts of the United Kingdom outside Wales are matters for my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Education and Science as appropriate.
The charters governing the activities of the national museum of Wales and the national library of Wales make no specific provision for the transfer of objects vested in the authorities of these institutions.
