§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations he has received calling for a speedy decision on the advice he proposes to give to local education authorities on the implications of the House of Lords decision relating to ordinary residence for overseas students.
§ Mr. WaldegraveMy right hon. Friend has received representations from Members of Parliament, local education authorities, educational establishments, the National Union of Students and members of the public. He hopes to be able to issue advice shortly.
