§ Mr. Nicholas Bakerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he intends to extend the microelectronics education programme beyond the current finishing date of 31 March 1984.
§ Mr. William SheltonThe Government instituted the microelectronics education programme in March 1980 and have now decided to extend the life of the programme to 31 March 1986 at a cost of some £9 million over the period of the extension.
