§ Mr. WaldegraveSince the main rates of student grants for the academic year 1982–83 were announced on 2 December 1981, my right hon. Friend is receiving a large number of letters on all aspects of student awards, only a very small proportion of which mention the proposal to keep the minimum award at its present cash level.
