HC Deb 06 July 1982 vol 27 c107W
Mr. Stephen Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he has any plans to market separately those profitable services operated by Sealink, such as those to and from the Isle of Wight.

Mr. Eyre

The British Railways Board is in the lead in devising a method of introducing private capital into Sealink. It has said that it would prefer to keep the company intact. We await its proposals.
