§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for Transport what areas of Southampton docks are being considered for sale to the private sector.
§ Mr. EyreThe British Transport Docks Board, which owns the port of Southampton, has no current plans to dispose of any part of it. It is, of course, our intention to transfer the whole of the board's business to the private sector as provided for in the Transport Act 1981.
