HC Deb 06 July 1982 vol 27 c99W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will meet a small deputation of members of the Coburg sailing club to discuss problems concerning the Merseyside development corporation.

Mr. Heseltine

A member of my task force has been involved in the discussion over recent weeks, and I understand that most of the problems of the Coburg sailing club have now been resolved and that they have been offered alternative and satisfactory moorings in the North docks. A remaining issue is necessary insurance cover for the craft; steps are being taken by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company and the boat owners to resolve this. I do not therefore feel a deputation is necessary.
