§ Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is yet in a position to report his investigation into the Responsible Society's report that some health authorities are not following the Government's guidelines on contraceptive advice to children under 16 years of age.
§ Dr. VaughanOn studying the report I found that it did not provide evidence that authorities were not complying with the Department's guidance. The report did show that a number of authorities felt they were acting in accordance with it and that others had adjusted their policy since it was issued. I have therefore decided that no further action is necessary.
