HC Deb 18 February 1982 vol 18 c199W
Mr. Greenway

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is yet in a position to report his investigation into the Responsible Society's report that some health authorities are not following the Government's guidelines on contraceptive advice to children under 16 years of age.

Dr. Vaughan

On studying the report I found that it did not provide evidence that authorities were not complying with the Department's guidance. The report did show that a number of authorities felt they were acting in accordance with it and that others had adjusted their policy since it was issued. I have therefore decided that no further action is necessary.
