HC Deb 29 October 1981 vol 10 c466W

Mr. Wilkinson asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will make a statement on his Department's recent evaluation of the British Aerospace Coastguarder aircraft for fisheries protection; and whether the Royal Air Force is involved in either the planning or the execution of this trial.

Mr. Buchanan-Smith: The results of trials of the Coastguarder and other aircraft for fishery protection work are still being evaluated. Royal Air Force personnel have taken part in some of the trials and the Royal Air Force is informed of all flying programmes.
