Mr. GordonWilson asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is satisfied with the availability of anaesthetists in (a) Scotland and (b) Tayside health Area.
§ Mr. Allan Stewart:The responsibility for staffing in any particular specialty rests with health boards, and at the present time I have no evidence of difficulties being encountered in the availability of anaesthetists either in Scotland as a whole or in the Tayside health area.
