Ian Paisleyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in view of the levels of interest rates and of farm incomes in Northern Ireland, he will seek to obtain from the European Community aid for Northern Ireland similar to the interest rate subsidy scheme for loans for agricultural investment in the Irish Republic proposed by the Commission to the Council of Ministers.
