§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Defence which North Atlantic Treaty Organisation countries do not allow nuclear weapons to be stockpiled or based in their territories.
§ Mr. BlakerPublic statement of their policies towards the stationing of nuclear weapons in their territories is a matter for the Governments of individual NATO countries. However, I can say that, as part of their policy of maintaining a "Nordic balance", Norway and Denmark have a long-standing declared policy of not allowing nuclear weapons to be stockpiled in their territories in peacetime.
