HC Deb 16 January 1981 vol 996 cc612-3W
Mr. Skinner

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if to mark the International Year of Disabled People, he will introduce tax allowances for all disabled people travelling to work; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Peter Rees

[pursuant to his reply, 12 January 1981]: I am concerned about the needs of the disabled, but I do not think that this would be an appropriate way of recognising them.
