§ Mr. RifkindThe present arrangements are being studied by the Scottish Law Commission in the context of their review of the law of diligence. The Commission hope to publish later this year a memorandum on the collection and enforcement of aliment and periodical allowance on divorce. It would, therefore, be premature to form a view on this very complex matter before this study has been completed and time has been given for all interested to comment on the memorandum.
