§ Mr. YoungerThe number of messengers and general assistants in reception areas in my Department at 1 November 1979 and 1 November 1980 were as follows:
Messengers 1 November 1979 202 1st November 1980 181 Clerical staff in reception areas 1 November 1979 8 1 November 1980 8 In addition, two sales staff and three warders were employed in the reception area at the Royal Scottish Museum at both dates.
