asked the Secretary of State for Industry when those who held shares in Vosper Ltd. prior to nationalisation will receive compensation.

Vosper Ltd. was formerly the sole shareholder in Vosper Thornycroft (UK) Limited and Vosper Shiprepairers Limited, its two subsidiaries which were nationalised. Vosper Ltd. has so far received £1.35 million by way of payments on account. Final payment of compensation will be effected when agreement is reached or an arbitration award made, as the case may be.
