§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on Her Majesty's Government's policy with regard to the EEC document proposing tighter supervision of temporary work and limiting expansion of the role of employment agencies.
§ Mr. Jim Lester[pursuant to his reply, 12 June 1980, c. 248]: The Commission has been informed that the United Kingdom has reservations about many of the conclusions in the draft document and would find it difficult to contemplate a binding instrument in this area.
