HC Deb 28 July 1980 vol 989 c480W
30. Mr. Adley

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will make a statement on progress made towards retaining some of the railway engines at Woodham scrapyard, Barry, for the national heritage.

Mr. St. John-Stevas

I understand that the National Railway museum has agreed to set up a working party to examine the locomotives at Barry and to consider which of the remaining ones might warrant preservation or provide valuable spare parts.
