HC Deb 04 July 1980 vol 987 c741W
Mr. Peter Robinson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland which hospitals in Northern Ireland are the main centres for peripheral vascular surgery in Northern Ireland; how many patients have been treated; what is the success rate; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Alison

The main centres are at the Royal Victoria hospital and the Belfast city hospital and there are no proposals to change the present arrangements for the provision of peripheral vascular surgery at these hospitals.

Peripheral vascular surgery is a branch of general surgery. The other information sought by the hon. Member is not therefore readily available and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
