asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now increase public funds for public sector housing insulation schemes; and if he will make a statement.

We have no plans at present to do so. Local authorities are free to use as much of their housing investment programme allocation as they wish on insulating their houses.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now extend the home insulation scheme to include homes which already have some insulation.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment which local authorities are making home insulation grants.
