HL Deb 18 February 1980 vol 405 cc561-2WA
Lord BROUGHSHANE

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether following the recent changes in postal rates, it will be made possible for members of the public to exchange or surrender at their local Post Office unused stamps, which are no longer useful, without being required to apply, by printed form to some distant office and pay a penalty.

Viscount TRENCHARD

That is a matter for the Post Office.
