asked Her Majesty's Government:

How much the cuts in expenditure on school meals and school buses are expected to save in a full year.

The MINISTER of STATE, DEPARTMENT of EDUCATION and SCIENCE (Baroness Young)

The Government's expenditure plans for 1980–81 (Cmnd. 7746) assume, for England and Wales, a reduction in expenditure in a full year of about £200 million on school meals and milk and £30 million on school transport.
