asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why there has been no reply to the letters of the hon. Member for Liverpool, Wavertree, dated 22 October, 3 and 16 December and of Mr. Leopold dated 25 November, addressed to his Department and relating to Panda Alarms Limited; and when replies will be sent.

I regret the delay in replying to my hon. Friend, but the case he raised was not a straightforward one. A reply was sent on 17 December.
