Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will give at the latest and most convenient stated date the names of peers who hold any appointments sponsored by or coming under the control of his Department and the salary and or expenses paid or claimed; and how many meetings or conferences, committees or non-departmental public bodies for which he is responsible, held during the past 12 months, were attended by them.
