asked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the value of imports and exports of trade in manufactures with the European Economic Community in the most recent 12 month period.

Mr. Parkinson

In the period March 1979 to February 1980, United Kingdom imports of manufactures (SITC (R2), Sections 5 to 8) from the European Community were valued at £16,202 million (cif) and exports of manufactures at £13,365 million (fob).
