asked the Prime Minister what arrangements have been made for the unveiling of the memorial statue of Earl Attlee.

After consultation it has been agreed that the unveiling of the memorial statue should take place at 12 noon on Monday 12 November The ceremony in the Members' Lobby will be performed by Lord Shinwell. The date chosen is a happy one: it coincides with the anniversary of the week in which Lord Attlee was elected to Parliament for the first time in 1922.
