§ Mr. David Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for Employment what training is given to officers in his Department and in public bodies ultimately answerable to him, who have powers of search and entry, with regard to surveillance techniques and methods of gaining entry into premises.
§ Mr. Mayhew[pursuant to his reply, 6 November 1979, c. 20]: The Secretary of State has no staff with powers of search and entry who receive training in either surveillance techniques or methods of gaining entry into premises.
