HC Deb 12 March 1979 vol 964 cc10-1W
Mr. Skinner

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps he is taking to ensure that the information contained in the medical report concerning workers at Bolsover Coalite and Chemicals Ltd. referred to in his letter to the hon. Member for Bolsover on 13 November 1978 is released to the local trade union representatives at the Coalite plant.

Mr. John Grant

I am informed by the chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that the employment medical advisory service of the Health and Safety Executive has not received a copy of the full report to which my hon. Friend refers. However, at a meeting between the Coalite management, local trade union representatives and representatives of EMAS, which took place on 6 March 1979, the management undertook to supply the local trade union representatives with a full report in the near future.
