asked the Secretary of State for Energy what plans he has for the future of the construction site at Portavadie.

Dr. Mabon

A group of professional consultants is at present engaged in examining the site's potential for alternative uses. It is expected to report to the Secretary of State for Energy and the Secretary of State for Scotland very soon. Its findings will then be considered as a matter of urgency.
