§ 26. Mr. Ioan Evansasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on the tripartite committee dealing with the future of the South Wales coal industry.
§ Mr. EadieI announced on 20 November last that a sub-committee of the coal industry tripartite group was to be established to study the problems and prospects of the South Wales coalfield. The sub-committee has now met four times, and will be meeting again this month to consider its report.
