§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how much financial support is given annually by the Exchequer to Iranian students currently enrolled at universities and other places of higher education in the United Kingdom.
§ Dr. BoysonAllowing for income from tuition fees, the net cost of providing508W courses for the 4,300 Iranian students in higher education in the United Kingdom in 1977–78 was about £11.4 million at November 1979 prices. From 1980–81 onwards this subsidy will be progressively removed for all overseas students.
