1976 1977 1978 Glanford 135 163 35 Scunthorpe 352 97 179 It is for each local authority to formulate its building programme in the light of its own particular needs and circumstances and within the framework of overall national policies. There is, nationally, a continuing need for a substantial level of new housebuilding. We would be happier if authorities generally were making full use of the resources which we have made available to them.
