§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why he will not publish the report on the riot at Gartree prison.
§ Mr. Merlyn Rees:The reports on the riot at Gartree by the governor and the 206W regional director contain detailed commentaries, disclosure of which would be prejudicial to the maintenance of security at the establishment in the future and to the control of any future disturbance or incipient disturbance. It is not the practice to publish such reports and I see no reason to do so in this case.
