§ Mr. Clemitsonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the failure of the Northamptonshire County Council to fulfil its duty under the Caravan Sites Act 1968 to provide sufficient sites for gipsies residing in or resorting to the county, and, in view of the imbalance in such provision between the counties of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, what action he proposes to take in the matter.
§ Mr. MarksI understand the county council's plans for site provision are in abeyance for financial reasons; in these circumstances there is nothing my right hon. Friend feels able to do for the present.
