asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has concruded his consideration of the report of the Department Advisory Committee on Aggregates for the Construction Industry; if not, when he expects to do so; and whether he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend expects to publish his views on this report, and that of the associated report of the Committee on Minerals Planning Control later in the year.
