§ Mr. Pardoeasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has received as to the number of persons on the lists for resettlement abroad from the representative in Buenos Aires of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
§ Mr. Tomlinson:The British Embassy in Buenos Aires has been informed by the representative of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees that there are 380 cases comprising 1,159 persons on the list. Details of 40 cases have been passed to the embassy for consideration for admission to the United Kingdom.
