§ Mr. Merlyn ReesIllegal entrants or suspected illegal entrants are not normally detained in Immigration Service detention accommodation.
My hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State visited this accommodation at Dover and Folkestone on 11th June 1976; at Heathrow airport and Harmondsworth on 22nd June 1976; at Birmingham airport on 24th March 1977; and at Stansted airport on 29th April 1977.
My hon. Friend the Minister of State also intends to visit the detention accommodation at Harmondsworth in the course of a visit which he plans to make to Heathrow airport during the recess.
